What Dive ops pick up at the Palace Hotel ?

My old dive partner will be in Cozumel next month at the Palace. I have warned him off Aqua World.
He wants dive operation that can pick him up at the pier at the Palace at the usual morning dive time (not the 11am thing that Aqua World does)
He also has a girlfriend who may be working on her open water (no referral, from the eginning).
It is ok if they use to ops as she will be doing classroom work and "pool" work so that will need to be at someones location. I just thought that I would mention it for any more ideas.
Suggestions?

Almost all dive ops will pickup at the Palace, I would suggest Matt at Blue Angel for his girlfriend's open water class, he's a very good instructor, very patient and a great guy.

Of course Blue Angel would be the way for your friend to go also, naturally. Fast 6 pack boats, very good DM's and captains.

There are many dive ops that pick up at the Palace. Try Rita at Albatros Charters (Cozumel - Mexico - Albatros Charters (http://www.albatroscharters.com)) She is also a talented instructor. Not sure from your post but if your friends girlfriend needs to do her pool work , Rita has a pool that she teaches in as well. We have been diving with Rita for many years and always keep coming back for more!!

We stayed at the Palace of couple of years ago and dove with Blue XT Sea. We were picked up at the dock every morning. There has recently been some discussion here on SB about some of the Cozumel hotels charging a dock fee for off-site operators. I don't know what the Palace's position is on that.

My friends stayed at the Palace last fall and dove with Blue Magic (on my suggestion) and they picked up at the hotel pier. I know they offer classes too so send Joyce an email joyce@bluemagicscuba.com . But as far as I know, many many ops pick up there, you shouldn't have a problem.

I dive a lot on the island and i use ScubaMauCozumel. Nearly everytime I'm there someone is picked up at the Palace. One minute boat drive from their shop.
Also they would be great for you friend doing her class work too. Mau is a most excellent teacher/instructor. kevin
