The first one was both a good learning experience and a fun dive trip. I need one more wreck dive with Walter to get the card I believe; more than willing to repeat the classroom stuff and spend however many days on it.
12+ weeks noticed prefered, as usual.
Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott:
Great to hear from you!
Yes, of course there will be a WMIII. The plan as of now, is to have the Certification dives back at Deerfield.
Walter and I have only touched on talking about this, but the plan was to have him continue certification for new divers, and finish any dives you need to do from WMI. {Unless, you can meet with Walter on your own and sometime in Florida.
Anyway, it will be in the summer of 2004.}
My tentative plan is to also have WMIV in the summer of 2004 back in Key Largo, for fun, and no certification.
That way we can add the Spiegle Grove to the dives.
Sound good?

I would be all for going back to Key Largo. I would enjoy meeting up with everyone again and those who I did not get to meet before.
Keep us posted on a date for the Key Largo Wreckmania IV. I would like to start planning. I hope it would not be the same time as another dive trip in the works for Belize in June. Because that will be a tough one for me to pass on.
Looking forward to hearing more to come information.

I'd do WMIV in Key Largo. I'm sure that RavenC would, too.

I meant, "I'd do a WMIII," not a "WMIV."
'Course, if I'm in for III, I might as well be in for IV. :)

OK, I grabbed the 2004 calendar..and here's what I'm thinking for both III and IV.
I would like to have III July 17th, 2004, Saturday, in Deerfield Beach.
The dives would start Sunday and go Monday and Tuesday.
That way it will be three days of two tank dives, like we have traditionally done in the past.
On Wednesday July 21st, we can head down to Key Largo, or people can fly or drive down that day from their home gateways, if they did not go to Deerfield.
Dives will begin Wednesday afternoon, and go Thursday and Friday, & Saturday morning. Sunday will be the travel back day.
Sound like that will work?

That would work for me. I could drive down Tuesday to Key Largo and meet up with everyone Wednesday.

than dirt allowed?
I was there when dirt was concieved and wondered if someone ranging in that age group would be allowed. My walker now has both ballast and floatation devices. I am also considering adding a couple of battery packs and props in case of current. You won't believe the amount of equipment I can attach to it :)
On another note I also owe Walter a dive.
Natasha post the particulars when you know them and hopefully the Boss and I will be able to make it.

Man, that was funny.
Jeez, I sure HOPE there's no age restriction... I'd hate to think of anyone not being able to go because of age... Too old? Too young? Too "middle?"
I personally would love to dive with someone who has your sense of humor... Age never occurred to me.
Guys, there's no age restriction here, is there?

For various reasons, I have decided not to participate in future Wreckmania trips. Wreckmania is a blast and everyone has lots of fun, but they do not fit into my future plans.
I will continue to teach and will work with those of you who need to complete your class. Contact me directly via PM or e-mail and we can work out details.
I've truly enjoyed meeting and diving with the folks at Wreckmania.

Walter:
Thanks for explaining to everyone, that you won't be the instructor for WMIII.
Of course you're always welcome to join us as a diver on any future trips.
To everyone else:
There will be other instructors available for this trip.
Stay tuned for more WMIII and WMIV details!

I've received some PM's from friends who seemed to be concerned about me not participating in Wreckmania.
I'm well and happy, there's no need for concern. I'm continuing to teach and enjoying my classes and students. I'm happy to dive with Scubaboard folks who want to dive with me. If you want to take a class, we can work it out.
Enjoy Wreckmania III and IV. Wreckmania is lots of fun.
