I will be in Jacksonville this week and thinking about bringing the dive gear. I am wondering if it would be hard to find a diver partner if I just show up? Probably can be there before noon on tuesday and may have the entire day thurs open.

open water? it shouldn't be too hard. are you looking to hook up with a buddy here, or asking more about picking one up once you're there?
 
Actually either. But only open water - I am not cavern certified.
