Elena,
When is someone at your shop going to check the chosen sale day against local events for divers?
This is the same day as Scuba Adventure Day at Lake Pleasant. This would seem a poor choice as it cuts down your customer base for your sale.
Is this intentional? I seem to recall this being the same case as last year.

This is not intentional, we have been having our sale the first saturday in may since we opened. We didnt know about the lake event last year, this year we were aware and seriously talked about moving our sale date but we were afraid either way it would hurt us. If you look on our Newsletter our closeout and rental is good 1st-15th, and if you come in now we will give you the price on equipment coming in early is ok. Alot of people do for our sales expecially if we are selling our rental gear.
