Monterey Spring Meet & Greet (New Date Poll)

The Spring 2010 M & G planning continues...


Recap:

The M & G date was set for May 22 but the American Le Mans Series race
will block traffic and affect hotel prices/access.

So, we're back to the drawing boards for another date poll.

FYI: May 9th is Mothers Day
May 22th is the big race
May 29/30 is Memorial Day weekend

I'm still good for the 9th... I'm also split on the 29-30th since we'll have a special guest in MoCal that weekend

I could probably do the 9th, 22nd or 30th... I'm already diving May 8th but could do the 9th as well :D ; the 22nd would be ok since I don't need a hotel and will probably arrive early... No idea how much the race will affect traffic...

As noted, May 29/30 is Memorial Day weekend, which might not work for some people... I can't go away for the weekend because my nephew is graduating from high school in Santa Clara on the 29th but I should be able to dive on the 30th. Unless my sister schedules his graduation party for Sunday... Sorry dude! Gotta dive! Priorities, you know...

May always seems to be a busy month for b-days and family stuff.

Just my Opinion, But maybe we all should check with Ben and see what dates he will be in town in June, and set this for June instead.

If you set it for the weekend of the 29th and 30th, that being Memorial day weekend we will have the exact same problems as the race will cause, High hotel costs , lots of traffic and on and on....

Just a suggestion folks!!

I'd really like to do this and am pretty flexible except for the 29th, son graduating from college. I'm thinking of heading down on the 9th anyway and would like to meet anybody else that might be there.
