Single Trip Spearfishing challenge
Heres how it works: Capt. Dans AM charter on Sunday May 9th will be a Spearfishing contest between the 10 divers aboard. Competitors have two dives to produce the heaviest aggregate. Simple as that.
1st place walks home with a 100cm Mares SuperSten pneumatic- $300 value
2nd place goes home with a SeaStinger Sliptip- $65 value.
Of course there are rules:
Most importantly, Recreational bag limits apply even if you have a commercial license. . ie.: Hogfish have to be 12, 5 per person. This means that if you shoot a 10 snapper limit that weigh more than the other guys single gag, you win. 2: Prohibited gear and techniques: NO SCOOTERS! (sorry old guys), Powerheads or decompression obligations
