Whats the smallest doubles wing that can be purchased for the sidemount harness? Seems to me 52lbs is not necessary for sidemounting aluminum 80 doubles in tropical waters. Is it possible to get a smaller wing? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the question. The SMS100 wing is only available in one lift capacity - 52lbs. While smaller doubles wouldn't typically need this much lift, our focus was to provide the kit with a wing suitable for diving both smaller 40's/80's as well as larger steel twins. The differences in our wing vs. others? We have one of the lowest rated wings on the market. We offer a 360 design which allows a smaller footprint and increased lift at the hips without the excessive size of U shaped wings. We also offer an adjustable bungee system that allows the diver to reduce the overall size of the wing to his/her preference.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for response. How does a diver use the SMS 100 to compensate for the fact that aluminum tanks become more buoyant as the dive progressess? Thanks.
