I am looking at a couple of weeks diving in Dahab later in the year and would like to take my rebreather (Evolution). Can anyonerecommend a dive center where I can rent cylinders and also what is the availability of sofnalime?

yes, this is available in Dahab, check:
Yes

Captain / Mohamed Abdel Latif
Tec Dive Center Dahab
+2010 135 0969

Captain / Hatem Saney Eldeen
2 Deep Dive Center

PM me if you need more info
Sorry but these center names do not exist in Dahab, and I don't think they exist in Egypt!

Mohamed Abdel Lateef's center is called Dahab Tec Divers. Obviously it is in Dahab. Hatem Saney Eldeen does not have a center in Dahab. He used to have a center called Below 100 in Sharm but sold it last year.

Asser, I am not CCR diver as well but when seeing this question I asked someone who works in rebreathers about contacts in dahab and he sent me the above info which I delivered exactly the same way I received.
Anyway, the phone # of Mohamed Abdel Lateef is posted, he can contact and check with him.

Solly, please note that forums are about first hand info. In other words, when I ask about something in Malaysia for instance, I expect replies from people who had similar experiences before. These people will tell me what was good, what was bad, what to take care of, what to avoid, etc...

Otherwise, anyone could search the Internet and have plenty of sites and data, but not first hand info.

It's all about first hand info and experience my dear :)

Now now ladies calm down :D
There is a chap who specialises in Rebreathers in Dahab. He's a really friendly guy and knows his stuff. I have met him a few times diving out there and my buddy has tried his excellent kit :

I'll get his contact details for you..

Again, this is info taken from a personal source not through search or something.
What personal source are you talking about? You mentioned two dive center names that do not exist in Egypt! In addition to a person who does not work in Dahab!
