We are planning a long 4th of July weekend to Tampa. I am interested in diving the Rainbow River drift dive (read on a website how relaxing it is!)

But the rest of my scuba family (4 males) keep assuring me this would be dull) I guess they think this would be too tame,

I also would like to do Crystal Springs dive (and maybe dive with a manatee)

I thought that maybe we could do Crystal Springs and Rainbow on one day and the Blackthorn or Sheridan on day 2.

Thanks for any and all input!!!

Rainbow River on the holiday weekend should be anything but tame. All that boat dodging should be a blast, near death experiences always get my blood pumping. Better to do it on a weekday, it will be a lot safer. As far as the manatees, snorkel is the order of the day. King's Spring dive is a cavern, no viz. to speak of except in the cavern. The bowel area is usually blown out.
