my timex helix dive watch is stuck in metric mode. i've tried turning the "crown" to dive track, and pulling it out two clicks, but the imperial/metric units mode doesn not display. wtf!? i mean, i guess i could plan my dives in meters ... but i'm american dammit! that just feels wrong :D

Yeah, we (Americans) never make the transition until we have to, but once you do, you'll wonder why you dealt with Imperial units for so long.

I have one and just checked it after reading your post and it does work as you suggest...I can switch between "metric" and "English". Are you just not able to pull it out two clicks or when you do does it just not offer "English"?
