wetman August 20th, 2003, 08:01 PM Are these wrecks worth seeing? Anything interesting about them? steve mars2u August 20th, 2003, 08:09 PM Well last I heard Dee Snider wasn't really doing much. Last good song by Twisted Sister I can recall was "You can't stop Rock and Roll". I think Dee was doing a series on TV with a character he invented call Captain Howdy Oh....you're talking about a diving spot...should stop wathcing VH1's "Where are they now" ...I'm showing my age...;-0 Sorry...couldn't help...but any site called Twisted Sister has got to be interesting;) Heck, your profile pic kind of looks like Dee from the old days:out: wetman August 20th, 2003, 08:13 PM You're talkin to the man who was at def leppard last week and has seen poison and cinderella every year for the past 5 or so. I feel your pain. You know, i was wondering when someone might comment on that pic... forgot i even had it there. Tom R August 21st, 2003, 04:19 AM The Pentland and FA Georger aka the Twisted sisters are located just off Grenadier island in the St Lawrence river, these hulls or what's left of them were more than likely scuttled by a salvage company out of Kingston. Tom DivingGal August 21st, 2003, 06:37 AM These wrecks were / are part of a NAS II mapping project being headed by someone up my way. Last year I helped out in the initial mapping, although very interesting in that aspect (as a mapping project) I'm not sure it could be considered a great wreck site. You need a boat to get to the site. Once there the two vessels are situated in relatively shallow water (I'd have to check, but I believe it was less than 25'). At the begining of the year, everything was visible, but as the year progressed, the natural plant growth quickly hides the wrecks.
