I am an experience diver out of North Carolina. I have become rather addicted to cave diving in FL but still love the wreck diving off the coast of NC. I and am in the market for a DPV but am on the fence over a couple of models. It seems that everyone in cave country is diving the Silent Submersion units and I am leaning toward a UV-18 with a -26 conversion if choosing that model. However, the x- Cuda is much lighter with significantly more torque which I assume will make it easer to handle on boat diving. Is there anyone out there that has been stuck in the same decision process as me - trying to get the best of both cave diving and wreck diving out of the same scooter ? And if so, which unit did you choose and were you satisfied ?
