Panama City Jetties in St Andrews Park rivals some boat dives I have been on. There are two shops that I like to deal with in Panama City (although there are others).

The jetties is the only place worth shore diving in PCB. Nothing but sand anywhere else. The farther west you go, the more shore diving sites you will get.

how much further west, im not tied to panama city. what kind of sites?

Destin Jetties, Pensacola Pier Rubble, Ft. Pickens Jetties to name a few.
I can't speak to the rental prices of the other shops but we (Panama City Dive Charters) are the cheapest deal in town for fills and pretty close to the State Park. $3 air fills and $5 nitrox fills 5512 Thomas Drive 850-588-8077

I dove with Better Bottom Time this past weekend but used Capt Pat and PCDC for the LDS. GREAT people, good prices. I recommend Panama City Dive Charters whole-heartily!

It is called the Percy Paine and is in snorkeling distance from the beach at the state park
