I posted this on the general board and another diver suggested posting here.....

1. Any opinions on diving near Orlando???? Lake? Springs? Epcot?

We're staying at a hotel on Disney property from Christmas to New Year's, and have an extra few days to kill.

2. Has anyone been to Disney that time of year?

3. Also, anyone interested in partnering up? We have three non-refundable rooms and only need one because my family backed out. :-( We're a family of four. Our children are snorkelers and hopefully soon-to-be divers.

Lots of springs to dive within an hour of Orlando. You are also an hour from one coast and two hours from the other. Crystal River has lots of easy diving. Daytona has some affordable charters. Lauderdale by the sea is an easy shore dive, but 2 hours south of you. Alexander Springs & Blue Springs are both cheap and easy and about an hour away.

Thank you! Didn't realize we're only an hour away from the springs. Definitely going to look into that. Thanks for your information.

Anyone know where I'd post a good deal on Christmas - New Year's week at a Disney hotel? My *%#^ extended family backed out of four non-refundable rooms we purchased in 2009. We've paid for four rooms, we need only one. We got $75/nt including tax. Is there somewhere to post it??
