Looking for Los Angeles DIR for guidance

Would anybody near Calabasas, CA be willing to let me meet up to look at a true DIR setup and ask some questions?

I know there is a lot of info on the web but it can be somewhat fragmented. I am hoping that some generous DIR expert will help clear up a few things for me.

Recommend posting in the SoCal subforum or on divematrix (although be careful on who makes themselves out to be an expert).

Or try one of the local SoCal GUE or UTD instructors, "lobstah" is one (and an off and on buddy of mine)

If you're free, I'd strongly suggest you make the following two SoCal DIR events this month:

Oct 9th: DIR Shore Dive Event

Oct 17th: GUE Demo Day
http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/socal/350705-gue-demo-day-socal-10-17-free.html

Both will offer you a very good look at the DIR system and give you a chance to meet various local DIR instructors and divers.

Perfect! I was just about to respond to mention that we have this event next weekend, but Rainer beat me to it!

We'll have a lot of experienced, fun people at this event....you should have plenty opportunity to check out DIR divers in action

I have my rescue class that evening @ 6. If we can go early so it doesn't conflict then I can do it.
