What ever happened to the repaving that was suppose to be done back in August?

I believe it's scheduled for (or at least overlaps with) the weekend of Nov. 6-7. That's why my fundies dives will be at Breakwater. :(

Here at the dive park the City has a contract to have the stairs pressure washed (I assume to reduce any liability). One would think that despite budget cuts it would be a good idea for the State to do so as well.

Well, the Governer just signed the law that says diving is inherently hazardous, so so the state can't be sued... I have no comment on the decision making prior to that.

Funny how multi sided these issues can be.

I wondered about the effect of that on ramp incidents. Perhaps it does cover the issue. The same law also protects local governments and non-profits if I'm not mistaken.
