This was our first trip to blue angel resort.arrived monday,took shared van. We were notified prior of work being done out front.did not even notice noise.room 203.dove on tuesday with rough conditions,matt was dm.we connected well with matt and jorge, both quality dm.full norte on wed. Port closed off to town we went. Waited until 10:30 on thursday for port to reopen large boats only. Friday was the best weather wise.i have nothing but complimants for eva,her staff,jeannie,dm,the list is to long.we felt like family and will be back next october.the food we ate was all very good,francisco is my main man,he is a wonderful chef,and pleasant to talk to.i would like to thank connie,tom,tony and julie for the discussions and fun we shared on the water,at the resort and digging for turtles.blue steal you were correct victoria beer is the perfect beer love them.while we wre there the water pump failed.no problem,just one night into following morning.pool,pond who cares water is water.eva offered up a free meal for the trouble,yes mexican night.blue steal you now have a new pump and a few less vickys.great trip.thanks to all for the input.see you in october 2011...michael

Thanks. I've convinced my wife that we should give Blue Angel a try in Jan and I'm looking forward to her getting that feeling.

Thanks for posting a trip report. Glad to hear you had a good time despite the weather.
One thing I really like about any place is the way the staff treat their "guests".
At the BA, the staff from maids, waiters, front desk, manager, dive shop employees, and DM's were all very helpful.
Didn't know about the work out front.
Can't wait for Oct 23 to come to enjoy that cold victoria.

Blue steal,you should be fine i saw from christis pictures that the ditch is filled in due to the storm.they had to fill most or at least a good portion to get the boats out next door.
