I was told the other day that "someone" had cut a number of large access holes in a number of places around the Keystorm. I haven't had much chance to tour her this season, so I thought I could try this method to ask if this is indeed true. Seems a bit far fetched but this person was quite confident of his information.

Thank You

I dove it in June & I didn't see anything like that.

I think I maxed my depth around 50' though.

I highly doubt that happened, your contact must have been narced, SOS or the Ministry would never allow a foolish thing like that. There are plenty of holes on the Keystorm already from the days of wreck raping and pililaging may be they just noticed that.

Just to show you how bad the raping of wrecks were, when they relocated the Keystorm circa 1960's they got bored taking portholes. They proceeded to take explosives and blow the portholes out of the wreck and took bets to see how high they could go.

We should all be gratefull that's no longer the standard practice

I was conducting a class on the Keystorm weekend before last and she is in much the same condition as she was last year and the year befire... etc, etc. No new holes, No new access points.

Frankly, penetration on this wreck should only be attempted by those with the equipment, training and preparation to conduct penetration dives... and with those prerequisites, the current access points are plenty large and friendly enough.

Tom... Good point... narcosis was probably a factor. And don't forget the Keystorm is in US waters... well, that's what they say anyway...
