I understand the Navy and Coast Guard went with the FDX10 first stage. Other regulators have done better in dive magazine comparison tests. In one test, the Hollis DC1 beat the FDX10 using what appears to be the same second stage. The DC2 seems to be more on par with the FDX10.

I am wondering what other board members experiences have been when comparing the DC2 to the FDX10. One has DVT and more spacing for computer sending units. Is the overbalanced first stage identical on both first stages? Performance seems to be equal, but what about durability or the noise issues that has been brought up?
