Mi Familia is in NY and I have a 4 day weekend. I thought it might be fun to dive on thursday. Would anyone be interested in taking out a relatively inexperienced diver on an easy Monterey dive or two on thanksgiving day? I've got 19 dives under my belt, but only one was in Monterey and that one was WAY harder than the 18 I did in Roatan and Mexico. so I respect the difference. I can pick up equipment on Wednesday and meet someone down there? Let me know if you are interested and I can give you my # so we can clarify if I sound like an appropriate buddy for you. I can hold my own while paying attention to others, but I don't know how to navigate, and I am not experienced in cold water so... full disclosure!
