I recently purchased a pair of DC212 regs from my LDS. Recently there has been an intermittent noise coming from the first stage on inhalation. It occurs mostly at shallower depths.

Anyone else have experience with this?

I had a similar issue with mine. The harmonics were most pronounced deep when using trimix. My LDS tried some "remedies" and none of them worked. I could never get rid of the "noise". Finally my LDS told me it was because of the trimix. These are supposed to be high end regs ready for anything.

The solution turned out to be selling the regs and buying a different brand. The noise has stopped!

I had a similar problem, turned out to be high pressure seat. Haven't had the issue since 50+ dives since changing it.

Follow up on my post, I got my regs back from Hollis and they work fine. They even installed the 5th lp port on them while they were there! Terrific customer service!! Thanks Hollis for taking care of me!
