I have a question on the Dive Rite 13" bungee's. Is 13"s the length of just the bungee or is it from clip to clip end? What is the over all length of the 13" bungee including the clips on both ends?
Thanks for any help

Have you thought about posting on the Dive Rite forum on Scubaboard. Kathleen monitors this at Dive Rite and provides great answers.

The 13" bungee is measured including the quick link, with the entire length of cord, but without the bolt snap. Overall length is 16 1/2 inches long.

Here is the finished bungee I made. It is 15 inches from end to end and cost About $6.50 to make. Much better than spending $25 for one! Thank you again for all your help!

That looks like a brass bolt snap?

Run (or swim)... Before you get eaten alive with the SS vs Brass recommendations.

Whats under the shrink wrap? Did you use hog rings to secure the shock cord or a knot?

I used 2 big wire ties at each end that are made for outside use. And I have been useing brass bolt snaps for years and have had no problem with them yet.
