My First Diving Holiday :out:

Hi,
Well I just booked my very 1st holiday abroad and going diving too on a liveaboard ( going to pack a load of seasickness pills) , managed to pluck up the courage to book it,yes i know i am sad . Im going to Egypt, I just want to know if anyones been there and whats it like overthere?

I havn't even done my OW course yet and we've booked a week in Sharm in October. I have not heard any bad things about diving the Red Sea, and even if I had I would not be concerned. I like to make my own mind up about holidays and trips. I just don't go with any unrealistic or high expectations about where I'm going. That way you can't be disappointed.

We're not doing a liveaboard, we want to get some more experience first. The only remotely negative thing I have heard is that north red sea reefs get very busy as there are many boats that visit the same areas...but it's whatever does it for YOU that counts.

Hi, leaving on the 5th of Oct. Cant wait to get there got a week there too, Its an escorted dive trip so i shouldnt have any problems.
