Thank ya'll for your prayers. Dad's been battling lung cancer for a little over a year after surviving throat cancer and laryngectomee surgery 11 years ago. The hospice nurse thinks it's a matter of hours or days before he passes.

My wonderful father James Allen passed away today after a long battle with lung cancer. We are glad his suffering is over. Thanks for all the prayers for him and my family throughout this past year.
The visitation will be Thursday 5-7pm at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home and the funeral Friday at 11am at the funeral home chapel with graveside services afterwards at the same place.
