threads UK q40 bezel?

hello, i really would like to make a LED bacup light, i am planning to turn a delrin body on my lathe, use a led drop in module and the bezel from an old q40 light, but i hawe one problem, i cant figure out how to copy the threads from the bezel to the body, and how to make the threads on the body.... anyone with good ideas?

I read on one of the other LED mod threads that the Q40 bezel fits standard 3/4" NPT pipe threads. I just went out in the garage and tried it with mine and it fits.
