Can anyone give me any information on a wreck in the St Clair River south of the Casino in Sarnia about 1/2 mile. I am not sure that I even have the correct name.

Farther up past the bridge is a barge, I don't know the name of it. MONARCH Other names : built as W.H. SIMPSON, renamed in 1933 Official no. : 81218 Type at loss : propeller tug, wood Build info : 1889, Rieboldt & Wolter, Sheboygan, WI Specs : 63x19x8, 49gt 28 nt (60 t. also given - figures shown are from 1895) Date of loss : 1934, Jun 7 Place of loss : Port Huron, just S of the Blue Water Bridge Lake : St Clair R Type of loss : towing mishap Loss of life : 4 Carrying : nothing Detail : She capsized and sank in a towing accident. avalanchediver September 10th, 2003, 11:37 AM This wreck is not the Monarch, it is South of the Casino. It is only dove with a boat.
