Hi,
The marine forecast is really bad for this week end.
I am planning to dive lobos on saturday, and maybe breakwater's barge on sunday.
I have to drive 3 hours to be in Monterey, and it's the first time that I hesitate...

What do you think ?

What Mike said. I've got Lobos reservations both days and buddies lined
up, but I've sure got a back-up plan for the weekend (finish prepping the
drywall in the garage at the dive shack for texture).

I never make a final no-go decision until the 3pm Coastal and Marine
forecast comes out the day before.

See http://www.garlic.com/~triblet/swell/Inet1XMP.html for a
discussion of how I read the forecasts. HOWEVER, I just realized
I need to update it a bit because starting about a year ago, the
NOAA C&M forecasts became highly optimistic. They have been
consistently lower than the other forecasts, and lower than actuals
at the buoy.
