Is this because you are putting limits on yourself or your not willing to dive wet in the winter? The water is still liquid in the winter in places. If it's not cold enough to freeze then its warm enough to dive. ptbodiver September 12th, 2003, 07:52 PM neither! im married ,have three kids, a full time job as a retail manager and weekend commitments up to the end of october. if i can find any oppurtunity to dive in there i will! I have only logged 15 dives but i feel comfortable in the water and welcome any oppurtunity to get wet. warm or cold wetman September 12th, 2003, 08:19 PM The envirodives i think may be based on good intentions but to be honest, what do they accomplish? You pull stuff out of the bottom of a lake that very well might be the new home of a fish or other life and generally disturb again what was already disturbed once. Plus if this is little lake, the water is no joy to be in and actually smells bad (i was in it today picking something off the bottom so this is very recent info). steve ptbodiver September 12th, 2003, 08:26 PM wetman thanks for your reply. I am interested in reading other opinions on the enviro dive specifically in peterborough.
