I just returned from a week long liveaboard diving trip. On the first dive, I noticed the depth display constantly blinking. When I got back to the boat, I assumed this was an indication that the battery was low, & without hesitating I successfully changed the battery without losing dive info. It continued to blink throughout the whole week, & of course reading the manual, it is the battery icon that blinks forewarning a low battery, not the depth display. I fortunately dive with another Aeris DC as a backup, & information was always consistant with each other. Is this another indication of some other issue that I should be concerned about?

This would indicate that you had exceeded the maximum depth alarm - check that setting to see if that is possible. Other than that, I am not aware of any fault that would cause what you're seeing... best to give our tech support department a shout: 800-435-3483, ext. 761.

Thanks very much Doug - I'll check the settings & see. Come to think of it, I do recall the alarm going off for no apparent reason @ some point.

I'm thinking the pressure transducer is on the fritz. Shouldn't the Exceed Depth Alarm reset to normal when you go back above that depth and not stay blinking all week. I had the same problem and it was the pressure transducer.

Turns out it was indeed set to just 30' for the alarm - very odd, I'm baffled as to how it got changed, since I always set my DC's to 100'

Thanks again for you help Doug.
