My son has recently passed his Advanced Open Water and taken 3 speciality dives in Malta. We have booked a last minute, allocation on arrival somewhere on The Algarve at the end of October. I know it's a wide area, to say the least, but can anyone recommend good diving schools and give me an idea of cost in the area. He wants to do a 3 or 4 day dive only package this time.

I would recommend hidrospaço in Faro, you can check their web site at: http://www.hidroespaco.com/ (mail@hidroespaco.com). I dont remember prices but should be in around 15 a dive.
