I just don't log dives
I have a Sherwood Blizzard reg and a Sherwood Octo. The hoses have "coloured rings" which I was told correspond with the remaining free parts kits for the regulators if serviced at an authorized dealer.

Could you please confirm that this is in fact what the rings mean and is this transferable if I sell the regulator set.

Bob,

Yes, the rings allow our dealers to have the service kit replaced. The "warranty" of the regulators is for 2 years based on the proof of purchase date from an authorized dealer to the original owner only and does not transfer.
