I run a medical device sterilization company and last fall I purchased a Keene KAC1 compressor attached to a 1/2 HP electric pump. The intent was to provide an emergency breathing apparatus in the event of an accident. I also purchased two half masks, two 50ft hoses and two regulators.
I have since found out that emergency breathing equipment (SAR) has to be NIOSH approved specifically for this purpose and so my brand new set-up has to be replaced with specially designed NIOSH and OSHA equipment.
I purchased this set-up from KEENE ENGINEERING last fall for $1,080. It has only been run for about 10-minutes at most.
I will accept $750 or best reasonable offer.
