Heading to the Jacksonville FL area this summer. I dove there about 7 years ago but that operation is not around any more. Any suggestions for a good dive shop or boat?

You don't need a boat you need to hit the springs. :D Thats where it's at.

Atlantic Pro Dive still has a boat, best bet.Try to get a ride with the spearfishing and lobster divers here or at Spearboard to see stuff nobody really dives much.

got certified last summer, and would really like to dive off the coast here in jax. I spose the atlantic pro boat is the place to be to try it out?

(have my own offshore fishing boat...but id certainly like to make my first offshore dive trip(s) with someone who knows what they are doing =)

Go to Spearboard and introduce yourself and mention you have a boat. There will be some guys more than willing to show you around out there. Most of the Scubaboarders from Jax do charters, cave or travel to dive.Really a shame as the conditions here are normally good 8 months out of the year further out.

is that its own separate website or a section on here?

unable to find spearboard.com if thats what you meant....site down?

the best place to dive in jacksonville is in the water
