hey guys,

I've just mailed the guys at scubaboard to check if its ok to let you know about my new scuba blog about doing my divemaster internship in East Timor and had the thumbs up so here it is :D

I just arrived yesterday but had a few days testing my new kit in Bali so there is some news about that -

would be great to get some feedback from you guys as although its is aimed firstly at my friends and family, it would be good to write for a wider audience and so any ideas on what works and doesn't would be gratefully received,

all the best and happy reading, :coffee:

Cool! I'll check it out! E. Timor has been on the edge of my radar for some time now....

cheers quero - yeah, it seems to be on the edge of the radar for most but its worth the extra effort to get over. There seems to be a large majority of the north coast that is pretty much unexplored and certainly unnamed. You could easily hire tanks and a car and just go off for days and explore. :uwphotographer:

Sportdiver.com just ran an article covering some tour operator who is about to run the first livaboards to here in october 2012 and about it being one of the "last remote frontiers" of diving, which is possibly a bit dramatic, but it is pretty wild. Most days we can be the only divers I see at a site on most week days. Its kinda nice to have world class diving to yourselves :D

theres been rumours of a wreck at around 44m but not confirmed yet

hope you make it! :monkeydance:
