Arrived at the jetties at about 1:20PM. Water temp in the high 50s and low 60s. We snorkeled the area that the jetty and the seawall meet to stay in the shallows(my friends first time snorkeling. The information on the water only pertains to the area we were in. Vis was about 7 to 10'(probably wouldve been more at the deeper water because the bottom doesn't have all that much sediment there).

We saw a few flounder, small fish in the hundreds, a stingray, a sheepshead and a large fish that darted off before we could identify it. A nearby spearfisher promptly bagged it. He popped up like a ninja so we decided to give him some space. We were in about 15' deep waters when we saw the spearfisher. He was snorkeling as well.

I will post reports for tomorrow and the next day, because we will be diving the jetties in deeper areas.

Happy diving,

Houston

Public parking in an parking lot about 250 meters from the start of the jetty. There are also some shops close to the jetty that let you park. If you go to the parking lot you just walk the seawall until you hit the jetty. There is a narrow road you can walk on straight to the jetty if you park at some of the nearby shops.
