Hi All.
I’ve just bought a second hand housing Ikelite 6144 for my Canon Powershot Pro 1 and I need to know what sync cord do I need to connect it to my strobes Epoque ES-150 DS and ES-230DS? Did anyone use that setup before? I’m new to underwater photography; can you recommend some website where I can find some info and guidelines on how to get the most of my both strobes?

Thank You for all your future help.
Regards

We don't have the strobe here, but it looks like the ES-230DS has a Nikonos-style socket? If so you may be able to attach it and fire manually using the #4104.31 sync cord: Ikelite Sync Cords

I can't recommend a cord that would be usable to fire two strobes with Nikonos style bulkheads. I would recommend firing the second strobe as a slave.

This answer is surely not correct? As I understand it, sync cord #4104.31 is for connecting Ikelite strobes to N-type housing bulkheads. Here, it is a question of the opposite, i.e. connecting a strobe with an N-type bulkhead to an Ikelite housing. Shouldn't the correct answer be cord #4116.31? Could he not also use dual sync cord #4116.32 to connect both strobes? I ask because a friend of mine has the same problem.

The end of a #4104.31 would fit into a Nikonos V camera bulkhead, while the end of the #4116.31 would fit into a SB-105 strobe bulkhead. These are two different connectors. I'm not sure about the Epoque strobes, but I hope to know more soon.

Sorry, Jean, but I think you've got it wrong again! You mean 4116.31, don't you?
