I was diving today (3/29/11) at San Francisco reef. I lost a small silver GoPro camera just when I was hopping on board the dive boat. It got carried away in the current. I will give a cash reward if anyone finds it. Claire (claire_horgan@hotmail.com)

Good luck, but those reefs see hundreds of divers a day and almost none of them read SB.

Did you have any contact info in or with the camera?

Perhaps a dive boat from one of the MANY Cozumel dive ops will pick it up ! No matter what, there is always a chance...good luck !

Sorry to hear that. I found a Reefmaster a couple years ago, and a few minutes later I saw a very worried looking diver fighting against the current looking in every direction. He was sooo relieved and thankfull when I showed him what he was looking for.

I hope you had some identification and contact info in the camera. Most divers are very honest people, so there's an outside chance that if someone found it and has a way to reach you, you might get it back. One good thing to do is write your contact info in magic marker on a big piece of paper, and then take a picture of it as the first picture you take. Then whoever finds it will see that right away when they're checking out their new find.

Maybe a turtle will find it?

If it's a floater, it's been found or it's probly approaching Cancun by now - unless it got pushed to shore by an eddy. Good luck. For others, see http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/sealife-station/371107-hey-get-orange-float-strap-please.html

Also good to post in http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/lost-found-stolen/
