Bought a TravelPac a few weeks ago and just used it in St Martin last week.
I was looking for a light travel BCD or Plate and after a lot of research and visiting a few shops and the scuba show here in IL, I decided to go with a Dive Rite TravelPac instead. My criteria was simple; light weight, durable and warm weather use only.
I almost went for an AL plate and wing combo but went with the TravelPac instead. I was going to use a Dive Caddy so I was looking for something light weight, compressible, and compact and I think the the TravelPac foot the bill perfectly,
The BCD worked great, this thing really fits well and was almost non-existent in the water. It really is beefy compared to the other travel BCDs and actually had metal parts instead of plastic. I would highly recommend this BCD for warm weather travel, by the way it worked awesome with the Dive Caddy (was way more compact than with my son's Stiletto in it).
