Truly said and heart breaking....
Just a few days ago I posted on the Nor-Cal Dive connection site, asking about the event in May.
Dale responded back to me with much passion and excitement in his words about the event and the new dive site.
I also found out that I live in the same town as Dale and was just telling my self yesterday "that's cool, maybe he could be a new dive buddy"...
All I can say is it is very, very sad.
My condolences to his family. He sounded like he had a level of love and enjoyment for the sport that only a fellow diver would understand. It is frequently a phrase that comes under much scrutiny at a time like this, but from my short interaction with him, I could say he died doing what he loved.
