Hello, All.

I am going to Ft Lauderdale for a vacation April 24-May 4th and wanted to dive there.
How's diving in that area? I know some people go off the shore and some take the boat.
Anyone wants to pair up for diving?
I thought about shore diving first and then maybe a boat dive during that time.
Any cenotes in Ft Lauderdale area?

You might get more answers if you post in the General Florida Conch Divers forum vs. this sub-forum.

That being said, your best bet for shore diving is Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Talk to the guys at Gold Coast Scuba on Comml. Blvd. - they run a very active shore dive meet up and can also arrange for area boats.

My favorite boat in Fort Lauderdale is Sea Experience. They can also provide whatever rental gear you might need. If you have a car there are lots of good boats as you go north towards Pompano and further.

We have plenty of reef, lots of wrecks and amazing sea life but I'm not aware of any cenotes in SoFL unless you're referring to the ones with Benjamin Franklin's picture. :D

Awesome, thanks for the reply!
