Recently my father decided that he would like to get boat towing coverage for his boat, and we were discussing the benefits of each company and what people have said. The majority of people we have talked to said that it really depends on who services the home port or area. We would mostly be boating the gulf coast and it's canals near central Florida.

thanks

I always had BoatUS, but I agree with the advise to check area coverage. You can get a good idea by looking at the location you would likely call for help.

BoatUS; SeaTow coverage is available in the Chesapeake Bay area, but BoatUS had more tow boats and area covered, also less expensive.

I used them once, my manifolds clogged and overheated the engine. Very quick response from BoatUS, nice crew and they towed right back to my dock.

I have had both. No complaints on either, when it is time to renew I compare prices.

terrific response and service with boatus here in the upper keys for over 20 years,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I'm in SW Florida, and have been with SeaTow for a couple years. They seem to have a larger presence here, but your area might be different. Ive been happy with them.

thanks for the replies!
