Going to Maldives? American Instructor needs a favor!

Hi everybody!

If you (or somebody you know) has plans to come to the Maldives in the coming weeks, I would really appreciate getting in contact with them.

I have a mask that I recently purchased (and is now in the States) but the shipping rates are ridiculously high (like $200 for a $75 mask that weighs 1 pound!), so if some "Good Samaritan" diver would consider bringing it over, I would happily meet them in Male' (the capital city) or have one of my helpers pick it up from your resort / hotel.

Sorry to make this plea in "public" but there are so few Americans coming this way, so I thought I'd give it a try here on SB....if you (or somebody you know) might be coming, please send me a PM (private message) and perhaps we can arrange things.

I would be greatly indebted to whomever would consider helping me!

Have you tried express mail international through the USPS? I think for around 35 bucks you could get it to Male'.
