I have a set of OMS LP85 tanks by faber. really like that set, very nice trim, neutral, etc. They are my favs, however.

They are painted and bottoms are getting all scratched to the bare metal.
is it ok ? should a worry about it? i give it a nice wash after every dive, so no rust.

I dont want boots on them but , what if boots be see-through ? sleeves? any pros/cons?

you can repaint them, but DIR discourages boots, and sleeves... Sleeves will make them more prone to rust because it'll hold water and won't help the bottoms.
Boots would at least help prevent any more scratches and I use boots, but DIR frowns on it as an entanglement hazard and the old Faber boots were real bad with holding water and rusting

hmm another 50 dives and thye will be bare to metal, ive seen bare metal tanks here :) they look rusty. I still have chance to prevent rust at this moment though.
my other two sets i just paint with marine epoxy every year, they look super ugly.

Just rinse them after salt water diving. Some touchup paint when the wear stripe gets unusually wide. They will always have a wear stripe in the paint, its no big deal. Since they are bare they dry fast and the inevitable trivial rust never becomes a structural problem.
