I'm flying down to West Palm Beach from Indianapolis this week and really want to get a dive in. My only opportunity is a night dive Thursday evening. I've talked with Pura Vida and they say I need two more people to sign up for them to go out.

So if you're interested in going on a night dive this Thursday (April 28th) please call Pura Vida and sign up ((888) 348-3972). Or let me know if you are aware of anyone in the area going on a dive. Help me achieve my goal of getting this dive in.

Thursday
south southeast winds 10 to 13 knots. Seas 2 feet.
Intracoastal waters a light chop. Slight chance of showers.

Thursday night
south winds 8 to 11 knots becoming south southwest
7 to 10 knots. Seas 2 feet. Intracoastal waters a light chop. Slight
chance of showers through the night.

Friday
west southwest winds 6 to 9 knots becoming south 7 to
10 knots in the afternoon. Seas 2 feet. Intracoastal waters a light
chop. Slight chance of showers.

It is too bad I have a rare meeting scheduled till 7pm tomorrow. Seriously considering taking friday off to dive, but would have considered this as well...

lol, are you trying to say the night may be a little sporty? Sounds like good night diving weather to me :D

DiveIndy, wish you were speaking Lauderdale by the Sea.. West Palm is too far North for me. Good luck!

It sounds freaking perfect. Of course i heard rumor of a sighting of a GWS last week and today a diver got nailed by a shark in the local area... Nothing to keep people from doing night drift dives though.

Thanks! I'm hoping this can come together, those conditions sound great.

If you can't get anything else worked out and want to get a dive in, an evening dive at the Blue Heron bridge could be a lot of fun. Tide is perfect for it.
Thursday 04/28/11 6:16PM 2.81 feet High Tide

If you are not familiar with this spot it is a shallow inshore spot with a very diverse collection of sea life and you dive from land. Lots of BH bridge info in this section.

Good luck.
