More importantly I guess, I heard rumors of a possible trade in deal for the X. Any details on that?

Hey Diverbob,
We are in the final (final?) stages. The Japan tsunami (no kidding) put us back as one of the internal chips is sourced from Japan and all those lovely chips sitting at our supplier's supplier in the USA were gobbled up by those bigger and more influential than our diving industry. We're not the only dive gear supplier in a lurch and there will be other chip-driven products in out of stock mode this summer due to this glitch.
We've sourced enough chips to get us a small first production run later this month. Final demos are due to Dive Rite this week or next and barring any huge issues, we're back on schedule.
No trade in for the NiTek X that I've heard of thus far.

Is DiveRite manufacturing the Nitek Q4's internally? Or are you sub contracting the manufacturing of the new Q line?

We are in the home stretch with an ETA of August. Testing is complete, Workbench software has been upgraded and we’re finishing up user manuals as we await the first product run to hit our doors. Will post as soon as they arrive. Thanks for your ongoing patience.
