New to the board here. Been diving for almost ten years but living mostly in new york(currently in Kentucky) held me back, so i decided to make a big change. About to move down to florida in the fall to attend Florida Keys Community College's Lockwood School of Diving in Key West to further my knowlege and pursue a career in diving. I've studied Marine Biology for a few years at stonybrook university but the lack of diving application has caused me to look elsewhere. If there is anyone who has attended this program or has any useful information or advice for me as far as diving and living down in the keys(, please share your thoughts.

Thanks ya'll

Enjoy FKCC's School of Diving. It's a great program. I was in it for a year before deciding a career in diving was not for me. The instructors there are great, especially the director Bill Chalfant. The dive lagoon has recently had all the silt all the bottom removed. It should be a great improvement.
