Took a look at Butterfly house, looked calm but decided on Lobos since have not been there in a while and no reservation was needed. Very flat. 47°F. Vis was at least 40' around Hole in the wall and lone metridium looking towards blue fish.

Well, I took off in the afternoon and decided Butterfly House looked like just the spot! As soon as we went below about 40', visibility opened up to around 40' and stayed that way all the way to the bottom at 105'. It was really quite beautiful. This time we went on a heading of 210 after we got way out from the cove. Last time I was there I followed 230, and I think this was a more interesting path than that last one I did. But I still think the most interesting topography I've seen there was on a more northerly heading, off in the direction of Outer Butterfly.

We (Clara N. & I) got 50 minutes on the bottom and came back frozen. Temp was 46F.
