Hello all! My wife and I, being masters of procrastination, decided to head for PR for a few days next week. I would like to try to knock out my AOW class while we're there. Does anyone have any experience diving there? Any shop recommendations? I'm PADI OW certified, and would like to stick with them for my AOW. If I can't do the AOW classes, are there any really great places to dive there?

Thanks,

Kristopher

Survey says: East and East-Northeast winds 15-20 and 10-15 for the next week. The smart money goes to Rincon and dives with Tiano divers, or to La Parguera and dives with Paradise. The smart folks who want to dive will not stay on San Juan or on the East Coast to get beat up and cancelled.

La Parguera also has West Divers. They do certifications, they had a class going when I was there at Christmas

We have dived East coast, West Coast (Rincon) and Southwest, as well as the island of Culebra, PR. We enjoyed the more primative Culebra and also the diving from Rincon, where we dived with Taino divers. Great people
