Hi,

We just posted a new review of the Coolpix P7000 with Fantasea housing from some test dives in the Bahamas.

See review at wetpixel here: Nikon Coolpix P7000 Underwater Review

Another excellent review was posted on uwpmag , see quote below:

“For its price, the Fantasea FP7000 is the least expensive rigid housing on the market and I would argue that it is the market leader in terms of quality, performance and therefore value for money”
Peter Rowlands – uwpmag.com (Underwater Photo Magazine, May 2011 issue)

For 849$ ,with this quality camera and housing bundle, you cant go wrong..

I have the highest regard for Peter Rowlands as a photographer using Nikon DSLRs underwater. And the FP7000 appears to be a fine housing. However, there are certainly other other "rigid housings" on the market at this price or lower, and other P&S cameras that outperform the Nikon P7000. A buyer would be wise to evaluate other options before making a decision.
