On April 16-23, 2011, we celebrated the first year anniversary of our printed publication “Mexicandiver Magazine". The event titled Underwater Digital Fiesta Cozumel 2011 was a success. During this event participants were able to get their hands on professional underwater photo and video equipment and were able to compare the quality of photos from their own cameras to photos taken from professional rigs. We also were privileged to have professional photographer, Phil Rudin as our lead speaker during workshops. He also conducted a photo critique.
During the diving days, participants met at the pier to board the “Bubble Maker” from the Underwater Marine World operation owned by Jorge Marin. On board, the participants received instruction on how to setup their photo equipment for the different types of dives. Each diving day we made 3 immersions, on 3 different reef locations.
